Taylors Student Takes Home Top Honors at USC

First-year law student Nicole Cuadrado of Taylors was recently recognized for academic excellence and dedication to serving others by the University of South Carolina School of Law.

Cuadrado received the Capers Bouton Memorial Scholarship, which is presented in memory of Capers Bouton, a 1975 graduate of the Law School. The scholarship is awarded to a rising second- or third-year student with a principal residence in Greenville County when not in law school, a GPA of 2.75 or above, and has demonstrated financial independence by working during their law school experience.

“The scholarship will benefit my pursuit of a rewarding legal career. The award is in memory of an accomplished attorney from Greenville,” said Cuadrado. “I am very thankful for the local support and look forward to moving back to Greenville and joining the legal community.”
