Are You Missing Any Jewelry? Deputies Say Check Your Items

The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office is trying to locate the owners of some recovered stolen property.

Spartanburg County Sheriff's deputies are trying to find the owner or owners of several pieces of recovered stolen property.

Deputies have charged Gregory Dean Conard of Inman with an April 25 burglary. As investigators were working on the case, they found out that Conard had sold several pieces of jewelry to a store in Greer May 3.

The items sold are:

  • Two 1951 Fairforest High School Class Rings (initials removed, stone removed)
  • 1978 women’s Boiling Springs High School Class Ring (initials removed, stone removed)
  • Startex Mill pin 20-25 years of service
  • One men’s Clemson A&M Class Ring

Investigators have not been able to locate the owners of these pieces of jewelry.

Deputies said anyone with information about the theft of these jewelry items or if they believe they may be the owner of any of the items, to call the Property Crimes Intelligence Deputy at (864) 503-4605.
