Arrest Made in Robbery at Taylors Spinx
Deputes arrested Paul Jennings White III of Canyon Ridge Trail, Lyman, in connection with the July 10 armed robbery of Spinx located at 2601 Locust Hill Road in Taylors.

Greenville County Sheriff's Office have arrested and charged a 21-year-old man in connection with a robbery at a Taylors convenience store.
Deputes arrested Paul Jennings White III of Canyon Ridge Trail, Lyman, in connection with the July 10 armed robbery of Spinx located at 2601 Locust Hill Road in Taylors.
Deputies said the robbery happened around 1:30 a.m. when White entered the store and asked the clerk how much a carton of Newport cigarettes cost.
After the clerk scanned the cigarettes and told the subject the price, deputies said White pulled a gun from his jacket and pointed it at the clerk and told her to give him the money from the register.
Deputies said the clerk complied with the request and White took the carton of cigarettes and the cash and left the store.
The clerk was not injured during the robbery.
White has been charged with armed robbery and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. He is being held in the Greenville County Detention Center on a $16,000 bond.
