BMW Charity Pro-Am Raises $700K for Upstate Charities
Courses and dates also were announced for the 2014 charity event.

More than $700,000 was raised to support Upstate charities during the 13th annual BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by SYNNEX Corporation.
The golf tournament raised $731,152. Checks were presented to the tournament's charity partners Thursday at High Cotton.
Charities benefitting from this year's tournament include: 100 Black Men of the Upstate, Child Evangelism Fellowship of Greenville, Child Evangelism Fellowship of Spartanburg, Dogs for Autism, The First Tee of Greenville, Greenville Tech Foundation, Inc., Harvest Hope Food Bank, JDRF – Greater Western Carolinas Chapter, Make-A-Wish Foundation of SC, Mobile Meals of Spartanburg, National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA), New Foundations Home for Children, Palmetto Animal Assisted Life Services (PAALS), Play Safe, Inc., The Reserve at Lake Keowee Charitable Foundation, Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Carolinas,Scottish Rite Foundation, Shriners Hospitals for Children – Greenville, Spiritual Two-A-Days, and The Walker Foundation for the SC School for the Deaf and Blind.

Since 2001, the Pro-Am has raised $9.98 million for 150+ charities.
The 2014 tournament will take place May 15-18, and will be played at Thornblade Club, The Reserve at Lake Keowee and, new for 2014, Green Valley Country Club.
