Circus Elephants Walk to Bi-Lo Center Tuesday

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus is coming to town and on Tuesday morning, you'll have a chance to see some of their biggest performers.

A thundering herd will take to the streets of Greenville Tuesday.

The famous Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus elephants will walk from the train depot on Washington Street to the Bi-Lo Center between 9 and 11 a.m.

If you are driving downtown, streets will be blocked as the elephants and their handlers approach. Roads closing are: West Washington Street from train station to Richardson Street, Richardson Street from Washington Street to Elford Street, Elford Street from Richardson Street to Church Street, Church Street from Elford Street to BILO Center VIP Parking Lot.

The 143rd edition of the Greatest Show On Earth "Built To Amaze!" opens Wednesday.

  • Thursday, 7:30 p.m.
  • Friday, 10 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
  • Sunday, 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
