Crime Stinks For This Shoplifter

A man pocketing some deodorant items at an Upstate Walmart ends up cited for drugs.

According to Greer police, a man was observed by loss prevention officers pocketing three deodeorant items from the shelf and concealing them in the pockets of his pants.

When the man was stopped in the Lawn and Garden department on his way out of the store, he was told he was being arrested for shoplifting.

When officers searched the suspect, a glass crack pipe concealed in a cigarette box was found.

The man was cited for possesion of drug paraphernalia. A shoplifting warrant was pending, according to the incident report.

The deodorant was valued at $11, according to the report.
