Deputies Investigating Second Police Impersonation Case In A Week
Spartanburg County also has had reports of two similar incidents

The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a second incident of possible officer impersonation that occurred at 2:30 a.m. on Monday.
Deputies said the victim, who did not report the incident until after 4 p.m., told deputies that while she was driving down East North Street a vehicle got behind her and activated some type of white flashing lights in the grill area of the front of the vehicle.
The victim said she pulled into , thinking that she was being pulled over by law enforcement, deputies said. The victim also said in the report, the vehicle stopped behind her and then pulled around her.

The victim told deputies that there was no contact between her or the person in the vehicle.
The driver of the unknown vehicle was described by the victim as a male driver who is clean cut and in his late 20’s, wearing a white long-sleeved shirt.

At this time investigators have no evidence to lead them to believe that this incident is related to the first possible impersonation incident in Greenville County or to the incident that occurred in Spartanburg County.
Deputies said anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office or CRIMESTOPPERS at 23-CRIME.
