
Greenville County Sheriff's deputies are investigating the theft of construction and landscaping tools from two different locations.
According to an incident report, on Saturday someone broke into a white 1997 Ford pickup parked at Taylors Mini Storage, 221 W. Main St., Taylors and stole a variety of tools belonging to an Upstate landscaping company.
The report lists the following things as having been stolen: two Milwaukee hammer drills, a DeWalt hand drill, three Stihl chainsaws, one Stihl concrete saw and one Stihl leaf blower.
The equipment is valued at $6,000.
According to another report, the same business reported three pieces of heavy Toro construction equipment stolen from a home on Scarborough Drive in Greer between 1:30 p.m. Friday and 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
The equipment was valued at $20,000.
