District: Blue Ridge Students Suspended, Recommended for Expulsion

Greenville County Schools says that four students were suspended following an incident with marijuana at school.

Four students at Blue Ridge Middle School have been suspended after marijuana found at school.

Greenville County Schools reported that on Thursday, a male eighth-grade student had brought marijuana to school and then shared it with three other classmates.

District officials said that one of those students then showed the drug to other students who reported it to a teacher. The teacher notified the school administrators.

The district said that all four of the students have been suspended from school and have been recommended for expulsion.

School officials have notified the Greenville County Sheriff's Office regarding the incident.
