Dozens Of Pieces Of Art Donated To Fine Arts Center
Athene Annuity donated more than 30 pieces of art to the Fine Arts Center at Wade Hampton High School.

Students and school officials were on hand at the Fine Arts Center in Greenville on Thursday to celebrate the donation of 31 pieces of art to the school.
The Fine Arts Center, located at the campus of , now boasts more than $1 million in various works of art, said Dr. Roy Fluhrer, the center's director.
Burke Royster, Greenville County Superintendent, said the works of art, donated by Athene Annuity and Life Assurance Company, would help students there further appreciate that the world was "certainly made better by the presence of art."

The works from Athene's corporate art collection, range in value from roughly $250 to $600 each.
"The addition of these 31 prints will make The Fine Arts Center an even bigger factor, not only in the community, but in all of education," Fluhrer said.
