Driver Thought Someone Shot at School Bus in Blue Ridge Area
Greenville County Schools said that two buses in the Blue Ridge area were delayed because of rocks being thrown at the buses.

Two of Greenville County Schools' buses were delayed Friday after the drivers reported objects hitting the buses.
The incidents happened Friday afternoon in the Blue Ridge area. The school district said that one bus driver thought her bus may have been shot at by someone in a passing vehicle, after her windshield was shattered.
The district said that 14 students from Blue Ridge High and Blue Ridge Middle were on that bus. No one was injured.

A second driver then reported something thrown at her bus in the same area.
The district contacted the Greenville County Sheriff's Office for assistance. As a precaution, the school district parked those two buses, in addition to others operating in the area, in public places will the Sheriff's Office investigated.

It was determined that both buses had been struck by rocks being thrown from a passing vehicle.
The buses were delayed by about 15 minutes.
There was no damage to the second bus.
