Residents of Greenville County will get a chance for their voices to be heard during a public hearing on Wednesday about Duke Energy's proposed price hike. The hearing is scheduled for 6 p.m. in Greenville County Council chambers at County Square downtown. Duke is asking South Carolina regulators for permission to raise residential rates by 17 percent and industrial rates by 13 percent. The Charlotte-based utility is the Upstate's biggest power provider.
