Duncan Man Charged with Attempted Sexual Assault
Deputies said that Kenneth Watts grabbed a female jogger as she was running on West Autumn Ridge Road in Moore.

A Duncan man has been charged with attempting to sexually assault a female jogger in Moore Tuesday.
According to Spartanburg County Sheriff's deputies, Kenneth Wayne Watts has been charged with one count of Assault with intent to commit Criminal Sexual Conduct – Third Degree.
Deputies reported that the female victim was jogging Tuesday evening on West Autumn Ridge Road in Moore when Watts approached her saying he was lost. The victim gave the Watts directions. The report said that Watts then grabbed the victim around the waist, the incident report said.

Investigators said the man fled from the scene, scaling several fences in the area in an attempt to get away. An incident report said the victim was able to run after the man to keep him in view until deputies arrived.
According to the incident report, Watts told investigators that he was "going to rape" the female victim.

Watts currently is being held in the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center. His bond has been set at $50,000.00.
