Eastside's Brianna Gaboriault Named Student of the Year

Gaboriault was honored on Thursday evening in Greenville, along with two other students.

Brianna Grace Gaboriault of was named Student of the Year by the Greenville County School District.

Gaboriault is on full-tuition as a Cornelius Vanderbilt Scholarship recipient and has a GPA of 5.082 with her when she enrolls at Vanderbilt University this fall.  She is the daughter of James and Colleen Gaboriault.

Also honored were Austin Mitchell Anderson from J. L. Mann High Academy and Myndert Papenhuyzen from Mauldin High School were named Students of the Year.

 With a GPA of 4.882, Anderson plans to study computer science at Clemson University. Austin is the son of Eric and Helen Anderson.

Papenhuyzen has interests in math and computer programming, and has earned a 5.562 GPA. Myndert has chosen to study computer science at the University of South Carolina. He is the son of Myndert Jan and Marina Magdalena Papenhuyzen.
