Extraordinary Man Without Limbs To Keynote Greer Chamber Event

Craig Dietz to speak at Greer Chamber luncheon.

Craig Dietz, the assistant solicitor of Pittsburg known widely for rising above his disability of having been born without any limbs, will speak in Greer next month. 

Dietz, an ESPN-featured athlete, hunts, bowl, swims and has even competed in a triathlon, despite the fact that he has no arms or legs. 

Allen Smith, President and CEO of the Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce, announced that Dietz will be the keynote speaker for the chamber’s 75th Annual Celebration on Thursday, Jan. 17 at Embassy Suites.

“The business community has had to face a lot of adversity; however, the adversity we have faced pales in comparison with the daily challenges Mr. Dietz faces,” said Allen Smith, President and CEO of the Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce. “We can all learn from his positive attitude and the fact that he has succeeded despite all odds.”

The event will take place at the Embassy Suites Hotel Golf Resort and Conference Center with a cocktail reception beginning at 5:30 p.m. and dinner and program beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets are $65 for Chamber members and $75 for non-members.
