Automobile Crimes Fill Feb. 27 Blotter: Greenville County Sheriff's Office

As part of Patch's continuing effort to provide our readers with consistent coverage of crime in your area, we're happy to provide you with the Greenville County Sheriff's Office's daily activity report.

These incidents were reported from Feb. 24 to the early morning hours of Feb. 27.

Thiefs were out in force over the weekend, specifically targetting vehicles and contents found in them. Between larcenies of items found in cars related to autobreaking, as well as auto theft incidents, there were 30 reported auto crimes reported over the weekend.

There were also 12 reported assault and battery incidents, with two of those coming in Taylors. Both an incident on Donnon Road and on Birdsong Lane in Taylors did not result in an arrest, though officers were dispatched.
