Fighting Irish Meet Tigers in Death Valley in 2015

Notre Dame will face every ACC team at least once in the first three-year rotation of games.

Clemson and Notre Dame will meet in Death Valley in 2015, the ACC announced Friday.

This will be the first meeting between the Fighting Irish and the Tigers since 1979, when Clemson won 16-10 after Billy Lott's late-game TD. The first meeting between the Irish and Clemson, in 1977, was won 21-17 by fifth-ranked Notre Dame and future Hall-of-Famer Joe Montana, against the 15th-ranked Tigers and QB Steve Fuller.

Notre Dame will begin playing in the ACC in all sports in 2013-14. The two programs will play each other in men's or women's basketball in 2013-14.  Clemson is the only ACC school Notre Dame has never played in men's basketball.
