First Reading of Greer Budget Ordinance Passes, 5-0
In other business, Henry "Hank" Mims will remain the Municipal Judge and David Langley has been reappointed to the Airport Environs Planning Commission.

The first reading of the budget ordinance passed, 5-0, during Tuesday's Greer City Council Meeting.
A motion was made by Wryley Bettis to accept the budget as planned and was seconded by Kimberly Bookert.
Council met two weeks ago to review the items included in the proposed $18.5 million budget for 2013-14. The proposed budget contains a 2.37 percent increase over the current budget which ends June 30, but does not call for an increase in millage rate, fees or taxes.
