1. Newt Gingrich in Greenville

Gingrich will hold a book signing and town hall meeting beginning at 4:30 p.m. Monday at Global Trade Park.

2. Playoff Games Scheduled

Baseball and softball playoffs continue this week. Weather permitting, games will be held as follows:

3. Taylors Town Square Meeting

Taylors Town Square will meet at noon Wednesday. Taylors Town Square meets each month and is open to all members of the community.

4. Greer Family Fest

The Marshall Tucker Band will headline the 29th Annual Village Hospital Greer Family Fest scheduled May 3-4. Festival hours are 6-10 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. Saturday. See schedule here.

5. National Day of Prayer

Brushy Creek Baptist Church will hold a National Day of Prayer service at noon Thursday.
