Former Furman Golfer Cast in Reality TV Show
Stefanie Kenoyer selected to be on Golf Channel's "Big Break Mexico."

Stefanie Kefoyer, a former golfer at Furman University, failed to qualify this year for the LPGA Tour, but her profressional golf dreams are not dead.
Kenoyer, who barely missed earning her touring card, will instead be a contestant on the Golf Channel's "Big Break Mexico" reality show, The Greenville News reported.
Kenoyer, a four-time All-Southern Conference golfer at Furman from 2008 to 2011, is one of 12 contestants on the show in a battle to earn an exemption to play in the Lorena Ochoa Invitational on the LGPA Tour.
Kenoyer hopes to follow in the footsteps of former Furman assistant coach, Sara Sargent, who encouraged her to audition for the show. Sargent was a contestant on Big Break VI" in 2006 and earned her tour card the following year.
“I’m really excited for the opportunity,” she told the paper, “and what it’ll open up for my career to hopefully help me advance a couple of more steps in the journey.”
The show premieres tonight at 9 on the Golf Channel.
