Free Child ID App Now Available From The FBI
Parents will be able to store pictures and vital information about their child

There's an App for that!
A free tool from the FBI can help you provide the most up to date information about your child in an emergency situation arise.
This is the first mobile application created by the FBI, according to a news release. Right now, it's only available on iPhones, but the FBI plans to expand the offering to other platforms.

The application provides a convenient place to store photos of your child and any vital information about them, such as their height, weight, eye color, hair color. The FBI said that any photos or information pertaining to your child loaded into the application on your phone will remain on your device and will not be stored by the FBI.
At the click of the button during an emergency situation, parents can provide instant information to officers on the scene and can also email that same information to law enforcement officials.

The application also provides tips on keeping children safe, as well as what to do in the first few hours a child is missing.
