Gas Prices Jump In Taylors
After weeks of steadily dipping gas prices, the Taylors area ran out of luck this week, with gas prices sharply spiking.
All good things must come to an end, and that old saying came true this week, when the Taylors-Wade Hampton area's streak of consistently decreasing gas prices ended in a big way this week.
Gas prices in many locations across the Upstate have risen by roughly 20 cents per gallon. Some spots along Wade Hampton Boulevard saw prices as low as $2.65 per gallon late last week, but as of Thursday afternoon, all gas stations in the area are reporting prices that have eclipsed the $2.80 mark, according to SouthCarolinaGasPrices.com.
