Get Out & Go: First Fridays in Taylors, Zoo-B-Que, Hunger Run

First Fridays will be held Friday at Taylors Mill. Local artists' studios will be open. Come see local art while getting to know our neighbors in the Taylors Community. Fore more information, check out this site.
Check out Zoo-B-Que 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Greenville Zoo. The event is limited to those 21 and older. Tickets are $25 per person and $15 for designated drivers. For more information, call 864-467-4300 or visit the zoo's website. The event will help raise money to renovate the Lion's Den at the zoo.
Enjoy Furman’s Music by the Lake summer concert series at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the lakeside amphitheater.
Take in a game at the ball park. The Greenville Drive plays at home this weekend. Check the team’s website for more information.
Food Lion will present a 5K Extra Mile Hunger Run at Furman University Saturday, in support of the Harvest Hope Food Bank. The race begins at 8 a.m. Call 281-3995 (ext. 3112) for further information.

Visit the Greer Heritage Museum. The museum is open each Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
See the stars Friday night at Roper Mountain Science Center. Planetarium shows are held from 6:30 to 10 p.m. each Friday. Tickets are $5 for adults, $4 for children 4 and up, $4 for seniors.
Carolina Panthers are prowling around Spartanburg. Head on over to Wofford College Friday morning for practice from 9:15 to 11:35 a.m.
