Greenville Businesses Cited For Alcohol Sales To Minors

Several bars and popular hangouts were cited Friday by the Greenville Police Department for allegedly selling alcohol to people under the age of 21.

Multiple popular bars in Greenville were cited Friday during an undercover alcohol compliance check, FoxCarolina.com reports.

The Greenville Police Department sent undercover officers to a dozen Greenville bars to see if they would see alcohol to people under the age of 21. Half of them did so, in violation of the state's drinking laws. 

Catama Bar and Grill, Pomegranate, Compadre's, The Nose Dive and Liberty Tap Room were cited, along with Dixie's Tavern on East North Street.
