Greenville Deputies Search For a Bank Robbery Suspect
Suspect demanded money from the teller, fled on foot

Greenville County Sheriff's deputies are looking for a man in connection with a bank robbery on Tuesday afternoon.
Deputies were called to Capital Bank located at 3401 Pelham Road just before 4 p.m., after an alarm activation inside the business.
The suspect is described as a man around 50 years old and approximately 6-foot-2 (see photo).

Deputies said he was was wearing a black hat, black or dark blue shirt, and sunglasses.
Deputies said he may have left in a gray SUV.

Deputies said the alarm activation can in just before 3:45 p.m. and that when they arrived, they were told the male suspect had approached a teller and demanded money. The teller told deputies that the suspect implied he had a weapon, however he never showed the weapon.
No one was injured during the incident. Deputies said the suspect fled on foot behind the band with an undisclosed amount of cash.
