
A five-touchdown performance by Quez Nesbitt wasn't enough to keep Greer from getting upset at home Friday night against a scrappy Seneca team in the season opener, GreerToday.com reports.
Seneca defeated the Yellow Jackets 46-45 in double overtime when Dorrian Raines scampered for a 10-yard touchdown and Dakari Morris caught a subsequent 2-point conversion in the second overtime period.
Greer's Nesbitt accounted for five touchdowns, rushing for for 216 yards and rolling up 76 more in receptions in a losing effort.

“A lot of credit goes to our kids,” Greer Coach Will Young said. “It’s not the way we wanted to start our season. We were a hair away from a couple of more touchdowns. This is a tough way to lose.”
