Greer Man Accused Of Trying To Sexually Abuse Child
Bernard Mills was arrested several days ago for lewd acts on a minor and public disorderly conduct.

A 22-year-old man was arrested by Greer police Sunday for attempting to perform a lewd act on a 10-year-old girl.
According to WYFF, Bernard Mills was arrested after a fight was reported at Kendrick Apartments in Greer. The fight was found to be in reference to Mills' attempts to commit a sex act with a 10-year-old girl in the home.
The child's aunt told detectives that she had overheard her niece telling another child in the residence that Mills had sucked on her toes and tried to engage in further inappropriate activity with her, according to the article.

Mills was charged with three counts of lewd act on a minor and two counts of public disorderly conduct, according to the Spartanburg County Detention Center website. He remainds in jail with a bond set at $40,525.
