A Greer man died as a result of a motorcycle crash Sunday afternoon on I-26.<a href="http://www.wyff4.com/news/local-news/spartanburg-cherokee-news/1-killed-in-motorcycle-wreck-on-i26/-/9324158/20870836/-/3wyyj1/-/index.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">WSPA reports </a>that 32-year-old Jason Paul Lawson died after striking the cable barrier in the median on I-26.Lawson was traveling west on I-26 near mile marker 42 when the South Carolina Highway Patrol said he veered into the median striking the cable barrier. The accident happened around 2:30 p.m.Lawson died at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet.
