
A Greer woman is accused of making and smoking methamphetamine in the presence of her 10-year-old child, according to the Spartanburg Herald-Journal.
Tracy Lynn Riggins, 46, of 801 S. Main St., Apt. 40, has been charged with child neglect.
According to the newspaper account, an officer responded April 16 to Crestview Elementary School after a woman said she saw several bruises and marks on Riggins when she picked up the child from school.

Riggins reportedly told the woman that the bruises were caused by a man who lived with her and claimed he got her “hooked” on methamphetamine and made the drug in their apartment.
DSS began investigating the matter and the child tested positive for the drug.

According to the Spartanburg County Detention Center website, Riggins' bond has been set at $8,000. She remains in jail.
