Greer Woman Escapes Injury After Her Car Was Shot at Monday Morning
Deputies said the woman was on her way home from work when a vehicle began following her and then fired a shot at the back of her car

A Greer woman escaped injury Monday night after her vehicle was shot at as she was driving home.
Greenville County deputies said the lady was driving on South Suber Road in Greer around 3:30 a.m. when a gold SUV began following her.
Deputies said that the vehicle did not a have a license plate. The vehicle followed her for some time and then fired one shot at her vehicle.

Deputies found a bullet hole in the rear of the woman's car. The driver was not injured.
There is no description of the occupants of the Gold SUV, deputies said. Deputies said they believe this is a random act of violence and that the victim was not targeted.
