Greer's Bill Haas had a breakthrough Sunday afternoon.
He beat his own mental game and tapped in a two-foot put to clinch his fifth PGA Tour win at the Congressional Country Club's Blue Course in Bethesda, Md.
Haas, 31, a former Riverside standout, entered the final round in a four-way tie for the lead, made six birdies en route to a 5-under 66, according to the Washington Times.
Haas' win at the AT &T National also meant he claimed the $1.17 million winner’s share of the purse.
Hass is the son of Jay Haas.
