Freedom Blast begins at 6 p.m. with the Greer Idol Teen and Greer Idol competitions, followed by a pie eating contest at 7:15. The Swingin' Medallions perform on the main stage at 7:45 and the popular fireworks extravaganza will close the festival. Admission to Freedom Blast is free and the festival will be held rain or shine.
