Haley Signs Law Enforcement K-9 Liability Bill in Taylors
The new law gives law enforcement working with K-9s more court protections when their dog bites a criminal suspect.

Gov. Nikki Haley held a ceremonial bill signing for a law enforcement dog liability bill at the Greenville County Sheriff's Office Training Center Thursday.
The governor officially signed the bill into law June 12, which gives law enforcement working with K-9s more court protections when their dog bites a criminal suspect.
The law states that K-9s must be certified, on-duty, and responding to a lawful command or other acting according to their training.
