Has Congress Been Hair-Raising Experience for Gowdy?

It's not a matter of national security.

It's not even the biggest thing to be discussed in the House of Representatives this year.

But you can bet if it hasn't been a topic of discussion already, it will be now.

Upstate Congressman Trey Gowdy (R-4), or rather his hair, is grabbing attention on BuzzFeed Politics.

The story calls Gowdy a "hairstyle kamikaze" and features a dozen photos of him sporting different hair-dos (or don'ts). Patch looked back through its archive of Gowdy photos, and yes, his hair has changed.

BuzzFeed also compares some of Gowdy's hairstyles to those worn by famous actors such as Michael Douglas in the movie "Wall Street," English actor Tom Melton who played Draco Malfoy in the "Harry Potter" movies and Tim Blake Nelson who played the role of Delmar in "O Brother, Where Art Thou?"
