Hawkins Foundation Golf Tournament to Benefit Orthopaedic Researchers

An upcoming golf tournament promises to be “anything but ordinary.”

“Not a Traditional Golf Outing: Take IV” is a tournament put on by The Hawkins Foundation, a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to advance orthopaedic medicine and outcomes for patients through research and education.

The tournament will be held Monday, Oct. 7 with a 9am Shotgun Start at Chanticleer Golf Course at the Greenville Country Club.

Cost for a five-person team is $1,250. Individual players are $250. To attend the fiesta only will cost $50.

Celebrating its fourth year, the tournament will host up to 30 teams in a lively Color Ball Texas Scramble on the award-winning Chanticleer Golf Course at Greenville Country Club.

A post-round fiesta will feature live entertainment from an authentic mariachi band and tapas bites, beer, and margaritas. Then, partygoers and golfers alike can cheer (or heckle!) the top five golf teams as they participate in the final, winner-takes-all Cross Country Shootout. Join us for a memorable day while supporting orthopaedic research and education in the Greenville community.

All proceeds from the tournament will fund scholarships for Clemson University students working on orthopaedic research through the Clemson University Biomedical Engineering Innovation Campus (“CUBEInC”) Labs located within the Steadman Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas and The Greenville Health System.
