Hiker Falls One Hundred Feet To His Death

An unidentified man hiking at Wild Cat Falls was killed over the holiday weekend when he fell, WSPA is reporting. 

The man, 59, has yet to be identified. He was hiking near Wild Cat Falls, which is near Highway 276 in the Marietta area of Greenville County when he slipped and fell some one hundred feet to his death, according to the River Falls Fire Department. 

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
