Interim Group Picked To Replace Disabilities Board

Greenville's dissolved Disabilities and Special Needs Board was replaced Tuesday with an interim body by Greenville County Council.

Not even a month after Greenville County Council dissolved the county's , council voted Tuesday to replace it with an interim board, GreenvilleOnline.com is reporting.

GreenvilleOnline.com reports that the county's legal staff is researching a possible permanent board structure.

- Judy Gilstrap, former Greenville County Council member

- Pearlie Harris, veteran educator in Greenville County.

- Bob Arial, former 13th Circuit solicitor 

- Jay Rogers, attorney and former chairman of the Greenville Area Development Corporation.

- Alex McNair, parent of a special-needs child and vice president for business development and marketing of Marsh USA.
