The company, which created a Facebook page on Feb. 22, 2013, was founded, according to its Website, by Upstate resident Terrance Woodburrow. However, there's no listing for a Terrance Woodburrow on White Pages in Greenville and other media outlets report no business has filed with the South Carolina Secretary of State's Office to launch such a business.
The site claims that annual memberships can be purchased for $365 and that members would receive a free 2-hour training class and a jet pack operator's license.
Additional fees would be required for helmet, knee pad and glove rentals, according to company's website.
The site also claims that the units may be charged at any of Greenville's electric vehicle charging stations.
Taylors Patch has attempted to contact Woodburrow through both Facebook and Twitter, but messages have not been returned.
