Kia of Greer Visited by Kia Motors President

Employees of Kia of Greer, located at 14345 Wade Hampton Blvd., Greer, had a special guest to help celebrate the dealership's 10th anniversary.

Byung Mo Ahn, the group president and chief executive officer of Kia Motors America, was in town this week to help to congratulate the dealership and its employees.

According to a press release from Kia, the dealership has sold more than 17,000 vehicles in the Upstate in the past decade and routinely ranks first in South Carolina Kia dealerships for customer satisfaction and being number one volume leader in the state.

 Kurt Obermeyer, general manager and partner with Kia of Greer, said Ahn’s visit was a proud moment for the Kia of Greer team.

Ahn was named Group President and CEO of Kia Motors America (KMA) and Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia (KMMG) in February 2008, overseeing all of Kia Motors sales and manufacturing operations in the United States.
