Kohl's Job Fair Continues Through Thursday
Job candidates hope they are good fit for retailer hiring 130 associates for its new Easley store.
Some would say Elizabeth Smith's life is pretty full. She's a new mom and a student, but the Easley resident wants more.
She wants a part-time job.
Smith, who is studying nursing at Tri-County Tech, said Kohl's would be a perfect fit for her.

"I've always wanted to work at a clothing store or a big corporation," Smith said. "Kohl's would be good for me."
But Smith isn't the only one competing for the job.

Job applicants trickled in throughout the day Sunday at Greenville Hilton, hoping to be one of the lucky ones to land a job with the department store.
Kohl's announced last week its plans to hire 130 associates for its Easley store, which is scheduled to open in September.
Michael Webb of Easley is in the Bridge program at Tri-County Tech pursuing a degree in business administration and a minor engineering. He said the economy and the need for extra money is pushing him toward a part-time job.
"I'd love for it to be a full-time job, but if this helps me get my foot in the door I'll take it," Webb said.
Webb said he has a friend who is an associate at the company's Greenville store and he's heard good things about the department store, but he said that's not the only reason he came out to the job fair.
"Kohl's offers a variety of items for customers, their customer service, at least in my dealings has always been great, and so what better a place to work than a place you like to shop," Webb said.
When asked why they should hire him, Webb, who has worked at other department stores, said he "loves customers."
Dayna Holford of Florence walked into the hotel she would call home for the next three weeks and ended up at a job fair.
Dressed in casual business attire already, Holford ducked up stairs to put on a pair of heels and got in line.
The licensed social worker just transferred to Greenville for a full-time job, but said she also needs a part-time job.
"I asked at the front desk if I could attend, when they said 'yes' I went upstairs and put on a pair of heels, filled out the necessary paperwork and now, I'm waiting for and interview," she said.
Holford passed her time talking with other job candidates, trying to find out what there was to see and do in Greenville.
The job fair will continue through Thursday at Greenville Hilton, 45 W. Orchard Park Drive, in Greenville.
