Lego League Challenge Being Held At Wade Hampton High
Dozens of teams will compete at Wade Hampton High School.

The FLL State Qualifying Tournament will be held at Wade Hampton High School on Saturday, Dec. 22 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event is open to the public and the only admission “price” is to bring a can of food as a donation.
More than 25 teams of third through eighth grade students will compete. Come watch the robots go head-to-head on LEGO tables, taking on challenges. Cruise the “pits” and see the variety of projects.
The event is sponsored by Greenville County Schools and Roper Mountain Science Center.

Can FIRST LEGO League teams improve the quality of life for seniors by helping them continue to be independent, engaged, and connected in their communities?
In the 2012 Senior Solutions Challenge, over 200,000 children from ages 9 to 16 from more than 60 countries will explore the topic of aging and how it may affect a person’s ability to maintain his or her lifestyle – solving issues like getting around, keeping in touch, or staying fit. Teams will research obstacles and the suggest ways to improve the quality of life for the seniors affected.
