Man Dies After Moped Strikes Bus

The driver of the moped was not wearing a helmet, according to the Spartanburg County Coroner's Office

An Inman man is dead following a collision with a school bus Friday afternoon in Greer.

David Marshall Green Jr., 24, of Inman, died of injuries he suffered when his moped hit a bus on Highway 29 near Gap Creek Road.

Green was transported to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, but died a short time later. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
