Update: Man Points Gun At Store Manager's Head, Waves Gun At Customers
Suspect turns himself in
Both suspects implicated in a disturbance involving a gun at a local grocery store are now in custody, according to Lt. Michael Hildebrand of the Greenville County Sheriff's Office.
At roughly 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, deputies responded to the Bilo at 2435 East North Street in reference to a shoplifting incident. While deputies were en route, they were informed that a second suspect who was also in the store had brandished a hand gun and was pointing it a store employee who had detained the shoplifter, who was his friend. He also reportedly pointed the gun in the general direction of some customers at the store.
At that point, Hildebrand said, a customer reportedly convinced the man, 29-year-old Daniel Justin Webb, to put away the gun. Webb fled on foot.

Jesse Lee McDonald, 29, was charged with shoplifting. Hildebrand confirmed Wednesday that Webb turned himself in Wednesday afternoon. Webb is still in jail at Greenville County Detention Center on $5,000 surety bond.
McDonald has been released on personal recognizance bond.
