Man Robbed at Gunpoint Along Worley Road

Greenville deputies are investigating an armed robbery that happened Friday on Worley Road.

According to the Sheriff's Office, the victim reported he was walking home from a nightclub along Worley Road when he was approached by a black male. The victim said the subject pointed a handgun at him and demanded his wallet and cell phone. 

The victim told deputies he gave the subject his wallet and phone and the subject fled the area on foot.

The victim was not injured during this incident.
