Man's Classic Car Stolen

A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the recovery of a 1968 Chevy Camaro that was to be the inheritance of a sick man's son.

A man who spent 25 years and more than $65,000 restoring a 1968 Camaro to leave to his son is now offering a cash reward for information leading up to its recovery after it was stolen from a Greer autobody shop, WYFF reports.

Crawford James Lineberger, who lives near Charlotte, said the classic car was taken Monday from Scott's Autobody and Towing on Wade Hampton Boulevard in Greer.

Lineberger, who took out a Craigslist ad offering a $10,000 reward for the car, said he has kidney disease and likely has a limited amount of time to live, saying that the car was to be handed down to his son.
