Update: Man Shot To Death In Yard of Greenville Home
A 20-year-old man was pronounced dead after being shot by unknown assailant in the back.

The Greenville County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a 20-year-old Greenville man, who the incident report reveals was shot at least once in the back.
At 4:50 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call that indicated someone had been shot at 10 Thrift Street, near Taylors. The caller, a neighbor, advised that at least one gunshot was heard and the victim, later identified as 20-year-old Ryan Alan Williams, was observed lying in the back yard, said Master Deputy Jennings Autrey.
Deputies found the victim with at least one gunshot wound. EMS also responded and took the victim to Greenville Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 5:36 p.m., Deputy Coroner Kent Dill said.

"There are no suspects at this time and no motive has been determined," Autrey said.
Investigators are continuing to speak to neighbors and potential witnesses, he added. The number of gunshot wounds Williams sustained has not been reported.

Dill said an autopsy on Williams is scheduled for Wednesday morning.
