Man With Gun Detained at GSP

A passenger with a loaded gun attempted to board a U.S Airways flight at Greenville Spartanburg International Airport Monday.

A passenger attempting to board a U.S. Airways flight at Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport bound for Charlotte was detained Monday.

A TSA officer detained a passenger with “a loaded” gun, a TSA official in Atlanta told the Greenville News.

The unidentified man was carrying a .32 caliber handgun in his luggage on Monday afternoon. He received a $238 citation.
