Marshall Tucker Band Fan Arrested at City Park

A Roebuck man who wanted to get his album signed by the band ended up leaving in Greer police custody.

A fan who climbed onto the stage at Greer's City Park in an attempt to get an album signed was arrested on charges of public drunkenness, police said.

According to an incident report, Jesse Brown, 47, of Roebuck was arrested May 4 after he climbed onto the stage at city park in an attempt to get his album signed by The Marshall Tucker Band.

When officers approached Brown, he admitted that he was drunk and told officers he wasn't going to do "anything dumb."
