MARYS House Needs Walkers for Victory Walk
Proceeds from victory parade will support MARYS House, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Pickens County that provides emergency shelter, services, and spiritual guidance to victims of domestic violence.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. On October 5, at 4 p.m., MARYS House will sponsor a victory parade. We are in search of real men who will stand up against domestic violence by walking on October 5 from the Easley Police Department to Michael’s Pizza. Men who walk are asked to wear pink or purple shoes or pink or purple shoe laces. Walkers will agree to raise a minimum of $50 by recruiting sponsors.
All money raised will support MARYS House, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Pickens County that provides emergency shelter, services, and spiritual guidance to victims of domestic violence. The top 3 real men who raise the most money for MARYS House will receive a prize.
To sign up to participate in the walk, visit www.maryshouse.com or call the office at 855-1708. Early registration is encouraged, but will be accepted until the day of the event.
