MAU increasing hiring for positions at BMW
The staffing company is looking to fill positions for forklift operators and production associates

An Upstate staffing firm is planning to hire more workers to fill positions that are becoming available at BMW Manufacturing Co. in Greer.
MAU Workforce solutions announced Thursday it would increase hiring for forklift operators and production associates.
On Wednesday, BMW announced it would hire 100 additional workers in response to demand for BMW vehicles produced at the Spartanburg County facility.

MAU said that both positions pay $15 per hour for the day shift and $16 per hour for the night shift. The company said most of the jobs will be for the night shift.
“MAU is excited to put South Carolinians back to work with high-paying jobs and great benefits at one of the best manufacturing plants in the world," Randy Hatcher, president of MAU, said in a press release. "Interested applicants should apply today and they could be working in a matter of weeks, learning new skills and on their way to real job satisfaction.”

In order to cut down on long lines and wasted time for applicants, MAU said it will be using an online recruiting method to select applicants for these positions.
Job Requirements for Forklift Operator and Production Associate Positions:
- 1 year stable work history
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Forklift positions require forklift experience
- Must be able to work 10 hour shifts
- Must be flexible to work on days and nights
- Drug Screen and Background Check are conducted prior to hire
